Jim, I don't have a USB DAC like you're asking for but maybe this is something to consider. I too was on the look out for some casing for the RPI with display. I find that the RPI is positioned very awkward on the touch screen; the RPI is positioned with its connectors on the side but without leaving enough room to plug in normal USB and or Ethernet cables. So I did a first prototype where I moved the RPI to the left side as much as possible. Below are some pictures of that attempt. I'm not completely happy with it yet and I'm still looking at ways to improved it. But it might give you an idea of what is possible by using simple pvc. You can build your own "case" with that. As you can see, the "case" doesn't really need side panels if you can put a pvc panel on top of the electronics close enough against the electronics. (hope I'm making sense here). 20693 20694 Sorry for the crappy pictures. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: 2016-07-01 07.56.24.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20694| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ 'M-DAC' (http://www.audiolab.co.uk/product-detail.php?pid=13) -> 'Focal MP1200' (http://www.mp1200.co.nf/) -> 'Focal Electra 1028 Be' (http://www.focal.com/en/electra-1000-be-2/209-electra-1028-be-3544053695099.html) 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Boom, 1 x SB Radio and 2 x SB Touch - all wireless 2 x Wandboard Dual, 1 x Wandboard Quad ReadyNAS NVX running LMS 7.9.0. iPeng on iPhone, SqueezePad & iPeng on iPad. http://www.last.fm/user/phibon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pascal Hibon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7969 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105018 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
