Thanks for the hint. Now I am recognizing that the warning is caused by
LMS run by perl, which isn't happy about wrong locale.
However, it's not obvious how to properly get rid of the problem. My LMS
is up to date because I installed it just few days ago via the web
interface with expanding of SD card etc...
So if i try to update LMS it reports no need to.

I am surprised if nobody else face the same warning about C locale
during the boot procedure. I guess all of us use the same image so the
same system behaviour is expected.
Does it mean all the people simply ignore this warning?

Meanwhile I managed to find a configuration interface related to the
issue - >beta>extras>boot codes
http://picoreplayer/cgi-bin/xtras_bootcodes.cgi

there I can find the property LANG with the following
description:

Use the preferred locale
<lang=en>
You need to generate your preferred locale using the getlocale.tcz
extension.
Default: C locale is used (US English, ASCII)

And here I am going to open the pandora box: what is getlocale.tcz and
how to use it...?
Google doesn't help much on this - I got very limited info related
getlocale.tcz and it is mainly around tinylinux with no usable cases how
to generate locales

Just by incident I found that there is a special command to load the
extension specified:

$ tce-load -wi getlocale
Downloading: getlocale.tcz
Connecting to distro.ibiblio.org (152.19.134.43:80)
wget: server returned error: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found
md5sum: getlocale.tcz.md5.txt: No such file or directory
Error on getlocale.tcz
$

and again I am facing next level of challenges - that extension seems to
be not compiled for ARM processor architecture and such the extension is
only available for x86 architecture!
Amazing... I just wanted to achieve a consistent setup of piCorePlayer
but at the end I am sorting out some linux extensions with unclear
purposes...

Folks, please feedback on your cases, if your setup has no such warnings
and... what is your locales?
If you ssh into your piCorePlayer and type the command "locale" what is
output?
