On Friday evening, I replaced a Pi 1B with a Pi 3, running piCorePlayer/LMS (files on the QNAP). I find DSTM with Spotify recommendations works extremely well, at least on the limited testing I've done since then. I had to update LMS to the latest version first, though. The reason I stopped using LMS on the QNAP was mostly issues with Spotify not working. Much better on both models of Raspberry Pi.
