Hi Daniel, as far as I know this should work without any problems with a Hifiberry Digi+ (and probably other compatible sound cards with SPDIF outputs), as long as you're following the instructions about generating AC3 & DTS encapsulated FLAC files and the correct settings in LMS. However, I don't have a Hifiberry so I cannot confirm this (I have ordered a Chinese Hifiberry Clone - the Pifi Digi+ - but it will probably take some weeks until I get it). I can playback 96/24 files without problems, I assume that higher sample rates should work also, but I don't have any music with higher sample rates than 96kHz. Gapless works also flawlessly, I think the only limitations are no Replay Gain and no Volume Control through LMS.
