It works fine with no special configuration beyond the same thing you'd do when sending DTS to a Squeezebox (no ReplayGain, 100% volume). In my experience, there's no need to change ALSA settings or anything like that. Thank you for figuring out how to get it to work with HDMI! I gave it a try and it works, though I had a dropout during my test...but as I posted elsewhere, I suspect there's a fundamental HDMI incompatibility between the Pi and Onkyo receivers. The fact that it worked at all is still better than it used to be!
