I have been trying to get Lirc set up with an Adafruit remote control that I have but I can't get PcP to see it. When I SSH into the Pi and run sudo mode2 -d /dev/lirc0 it does see the remote so I'm confident it is connected correctly. I have Jivelite enabled. I have copied over the Adafruit configuration and put it in two files lircd.conf and lircrc which I have saved to /tmp and then pressed the 'Custom' button an re-booted. But the remote does not seem to do anything. I'm probably missing something obvious but I can't see it.
