Then I went back in the Squeezelite settings (Squeezelite was still
running with disabled onboard card) and now - hell know why - I could
see all kinds of outputs devices inlcuding the one i usually use.

After choosing the right output- and the other settings, followed by the
restart everything seems to work again. Sounds is back again.

Still not sure why but at least it´s there again. But now I´m hesitating
going back to v4.0.0.

Or do you know the reason for this - from my point of view - strange
behaviour?
