As others have said Jivelite IS the controller that sends control
signals via IP to the server.

To do control of the central player at each TV location you could just
have a Pi + Screen running Jivelite set to monitor the central player.

I'm relatively sure you could control the central Jivelite via IP in a
simmilar way to lirc but it seems a bit of a weird way to do it.

I'm taking it that you have IR recievers in each TV location and a
transmitter in the "Central location" ?
