I have remotes around the house that work over WiFi to a central
processor that can control anything via IP, serial, IR etc.
My goal is to have something simple for the family to use.
Pick up the remote, hit music and be presented with the Jivelite menu on
the TV that they can navigate favorites. 
I'm going to tackle the IR codes this weekend.
