Dear all, I found the solution. Maybe this was clear to everybody else but I had not fully realized that the Bluetooth speaker needs to be turned on before starting squeezelite.
Since I found out about that WiFi and Bluetooth are working. This is pretty cool. Thanks for all your help. What still is not clear to me is why the pi has Bluetooth dominance over another already connected device.
