I asked about adding HDMI CEC support during the beta cycle but there was too much else going on.
I have just noticed that the libCEC people now appear to have added support for using the Linux kernel CEC API which might make things easier. They added HAVE_LINUX_API at the start of April 2020 (although the change is from 2017) https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/commit/89a92a2838d0d164df24e6982ddea7a48eb9664e Then I think the kernel config would need these to enabled CONFIG_MEDIA_CEC_SUPPORT CONFIG_DRM_VC4_HDMI_CEC My earlier post https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110727-BETA-piCorePlayer6-0-0-PI4-support&p=962635#post962635 Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com Author Radio France (FIP etc) plugin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111787 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
