The more general solution to this probably would be to return the
exposed HTTP address from serverAddr(), instead of only using it for the
call switching players from mysb.com to LMS. It then would also show
this IP in eg. Settings/Information, or in other places where the user
facing IP would be preferable.

I agree. As it's impossible for the server to know (in let's say
advanced scenarios) which address it should report to mysb or the
players, having some option to override the otherwise valid guessing
attempts would be good.

Maybe you can re-open your report on github (did I even close it?) and attach a cleaned up version of your patch (no whitespace changes)? Thanks!
