Thanks truscellino! Also for posting the link. And yes, it is the same device.
A couple of years ago, i had much worse dropout errors as well, caused by a failing psu, that fed the clean side of the Allo hat. A new psu and the problem was solved. So the very first thing i tried this time, was to change to the original psu, then another and more powerfull lps and then an Allo Nirvana. No luck with any of them. Next step was to try all the same power supplys on the dirty side and on the server as well. No matter which combination, the dropouts lingered. That doesn´t rule out a I2S sync error and i´m beginning to suspect that maybe the Digione Sig board itself has a periodic failure.. Anyway, as soon as i heard a couple of dropouts, using the 32 bit pCP version, i changed back to the 64 bit: 35815 Look! No I2S sync errors! :-D -But alas, still errors in the music :-( I won´t have the time before Tuesday, but next up is trying the headphone output on the client :-) +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Client 64 bit card dmesg log.PNG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35815| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dkskl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69538 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115167
