This morning I made a new image with the netusb file added in the boot
partition.
It did not work:(
I configured the card for wireless and replaced the usb-ethernet
connector with a Khadas dac
That worked.
I powered down for lunch.
At Paul's request, I swapped out the dac for the ethernet connector and
powered up

I then selected a hat dac as audio output and rebooted
No ethernet is shown in the log

Bit I can enter the previous ethernet IP Address and connect to the zero
2W both on the wlan and the ethernet

I did pcp bs, powered on and had two IP Addresses available,
stopped the wifi from the ethernet connection, did pcp br
and I have no connection to the pi
