I checked in Extensions > Installed and there is no netusb.

I powered down and added a netusb file to the boot partition

Powered up, netusb found and kernel modules added, no ethernet showing
in ifconfig 

Please don't bother with any extra work on my account, I can work around
it with squeezelite on raspberry PI OS-Lite

I'll check back every now and then.
