On the piCorePlayer webGUI main page you’ll see the option for Sd
card backup. You’ll select the destination for the backup. Could
be the NAS or an attached usb drive. The backup will create a IMG file.
Then you can burn this img file to a different SD card in the future if
need be. Bottom line, the backup process is not creating a new SD card,
only the img file.

Edit. Don’t know if required, but I always stop LMS before making
the backup.
