Terry, I downloaded Ryan's version 2.2b3 and it WORKS!!!!! I was only able to set my Powerforce G3/500 clock speed to 250MHz at the 50MHz bus prior to this.
Now I can set it the full speed of 500 MHz at the 50MHz bus!!!! I'm sorry to hear about your card. I hope you can get another one and use this lastest release of Xpostfacto 2.2b3.
