I'll take the last question first - All you need out of the Xpostfacto .img is the control panel for a basic set up. The resources are there if you want to do some experimenting. Xpostfacto can go anywhere. Drop it in your CP folder if you like, or put it wherever it's conveniently accessible. Now, as to your crashing problem - I had the exact same thing happen. Turned out to be disk errors on my classic disk. Since it's a small drive, and the only thing on it is the Classic OS, I simply reformatted it and restored the Classic System folder from my backup. Since reformatting is a bit drastic, first try running Disk First Aid, If you haven't already. If that doesn't help move on to your favorite big gun - Norton, DiskWarrior, TechTool, whichever you use for your regular maintenance. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
