Hi, Terry,
A bit later . . . (haven't checked the list for a week plus). I have
not tried too much slot variety. I have seen the "built-in ethernet" and
"external ethernet" options appear and disappear, but have not had any
success at using "external."
I'm not too worked up about it at the moment. "Real" OS-X machines get
cheaper by the day in the local weekly bazaar ("jumble sale" to you??)
papers -- saw one for only 380 Euros today -- so it may be only a matter
of time till I work with the real thing. If work eases up, I'll try all
options again -- probably including some I overlooked before.
