Type in: sudo ls -la ./Trash /Volumes/*/.Trash This will list all of your volumes and their trash contents, visible and invisible to the Finder. Of course with an y command prefixed by sudo, you will need to provide an administrators password to execute the command as root. Next, delete all contents of any of these .Trash directories that have any contents by using: sudo rm -rf ./Trash /Volumes/*/.Trash This should solve any problem that you are having. I had the same type of problem in the past and this solves it for me every time now. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
