I've been following the list for some time in preparation for putting OS X in my PM7500. However, I'm at a loss to figure out what I need. It looks like I'll need a G3 processor and it even looks like I'll have to install OS 9.1 on a separate drive or separate partition. I say 9.1 because it seems to be superior to 9.0 and it seems that a number of people have had problems with 9.2.
Am I right, and if so, what's the best g3 processor? I don't think it matters to me if it's 250mhz, 300, 400, whatever. If there are quality differences between brands, I'd rather have a quality 250 than an inferior 400mhz. I'm sure I'll have more questions later...! If you can point me to any websites that will help with my questions, I'd be very appreciative.
