I have a ATI Rage 128 PCI video card in my PM7500. I found that while the Apple System Profiler identified the video card correctly, I wasn't getting any video out. I hooked the monitor up to the PCI video card and re-booted. The majority of the boot sequence showed a dead screen, but at the end of the sequence, the monitor showed some life. Now it works like it is supposed to. Don't have the foggiest reason as to why this would work.
