I forgot to mention and don't think anyone else has...Have you tried moving the Video card to a different PCI slot? In the machine I use J700/S900 UMAX the ixmicro Ultima rez card needs to be in slot 1 or 2 otherwise it usually won't work. Also needed to be chosen as the output under openfirmware in XPFacto. In my machine slot one is labeled A1 etc. Worth a try!
