This card should work fine in OSX. There is a work around which many cards often need including the Radeon and Radeon 7000. You open XPFacto and at the top under "openfirmware" you will see "input" and "output" choice keyboard in "input" and your iXMICRO under "output" This usually fixes the problem. Also booting in Verbose mode will often work when regular booting doesn't and also gives clues about what is going on. Also have you tried the throttle settings in XPF? The higher the number the slower the cpu runs for booting only which helps many upgraded machines boot. 8 is default number but many machines will boot at a higher number in fact I'd start with 24 and if that boots try lower settings until you find what works with your machine. There are so many things that could go wrong it is hard to tell for sure what the problem is sometimes.
