Video performance was sluggish when it came to scrolling, or dragging a window under the installer's OS. I tried with 4 megs of VRAM on the logic board as well. Performance was a little more sluggish. I expected a larger improvement with the 16 megs of RAM that the Voodoo3 offers. Why's that?
Until you have OSX installed and L2Cache Config or Powerlogix Cache control X software installed to enable the cache on your processor, OSX is going to be horribly slow, no matter what the video.
