I've a ZIF carrier and a 550 G4 in my PowerTower Pro. I heard that you can get away with running it at 450 and setting the bus speed as 50 (x9 multiplier). Should I do this or run it at 405 with the actual bus speed of 45?

Your PTPro's motherboard should run at 50 MHz without a problem, just remove the MBoard L2 cache as it may not achieve this speed (PowerComputing L2 caches were very good, so you probably don't need to do this). After running at 450 MHz, you may want to try bumping up the bus speed to 52 or 54 MHz to see what the MBoard will support. My 7600 goes to 57 MHz but my 7300 only goes to 53 MHz. Depends on the luck of the draw. If simple stability is all you are looking for, not the last 10% of speed then disregard the overclocking advice.
