Any thoughts?
X is a much more picky about termination than OS9. I'd recommend double and even triple checking the termination. Maybe playing around with different set-ups. I have a 8600 and in order to get my SCSI drives to show up under X, I eventually had to reinstall the original HD and use that as one end of the chain. I don't think I ever did get X to install on a SCSI drive (I have an ATA card) although I think other people have.
