Before I enabled it, things such as moving windows around was a little 
sluggish. After I edited the file, it was very much noticeably fast and 
smooth. Also, before enabling it, and using the fast-user-switching 
feature, there was no animations whatsoever. After enabling it, I got 
the "spinning cube" effect.

any suggestions? a simple hack like this shouldn't be so difficult
