Firefox Cairo I just heard about recently, and haven't been able to find a

this if they have info.
Cairo is a 2-D rendering package, primarily designed for the client desktop (ie Gnome programs are starting to use Cairo for rendering as is Firefox). Cairo can render a number of formats including SVG and can utilize OpenGL (via Glitz) I don't think you would really use Cairo in any web apps though the Firefox browser may utilize it to render whatever your app sends to the browser. thks for understanding what standards are supposed to provide.
