That's the first time I can recall someone ever suggesting it, but I think it is brilliant. Mail list managers (mailman especially) should have a per-user setting for reply-to munging on or off, rather than a per-list setting.
While they're at it, if they could let me choose whether to receive replies shown as bottom-posted rather than top-posted, that would be awesome...
I'm very serious about the first part though - why isn't it a per-user setting in mailman, like the digest feature is? Does this already exist? If so, why doesn't anyone use it?
