Being somewhere in the limbo dimension between designer and
programmer, I have to say the AI idea is intriguing, but I wouldn't
want to use it to generate design (at least in this application) any
more than I'd want to use it to determine my hair style. Could I find
the most suitable style for my hair by letting people constantly vote
changes? Personally, even if I choose something less than ideal, I
think I'd rather have people recognize me for who I am than changing
my identity to suit the averages of mass opinion. A site wants to be
recognized too. Can you imagine if every time you showed up at ...
(enter your most useful site here) .. everything looked completely
different? I'd think it would be unsettling after a short while.
