As an FYI for uPortal developers and those interested in uPortal development. The Jasig board has been working on updating the licensing policy for projects under its purview. The updated policy is available for public review on the wiki: http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/x/6YB9AQ

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm looking forward to these changes and will be sending in my own signed Contributer License Agreement (CLA) shortly. While I believe direct contact with existing uPortal developers is planned I would encourage anyone with commit access to the Jasig SVN repository to go ahead and submit a signed CLA as well after of course going through whatever institutional policy you need to for that. Your initiative in this effort will help make the transition go as smoothly as possible.
