--- Comment #129 from Tomasz "CeDeROM" CEDRO <to...@cedro.info> --- Thanks Mark :-) Sorry the full name is SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0: https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/sabertooth%20990fx%20r2-0/helpdesk_knowledge/ >From the ASUS TUF Z890 PRO WIFI I am using: Rear USB (Total 8 ports) 2 x Thunderbolt™ 4 ports (2 x USB Type-C®) - YES works as USB. 6 x USB 10Gbps ports (6 x Type-A) - YES all of them. Front USB (Total 7 ports) 1 x USB 20Gbps (supports USB Type-C® with up to 30W PD/PPS Fast-charge )* - star here means its only a connector onboard and no panel not even adapter to USB-C/USB-A/USB3.0 provided in the box by Asus not available to buy elsewhere, theoretical functionality on paper only. 1 x USB 5Gbps header supports 2 additional USB 5Gbps ports - have this one connected but not using. 2 x USB 2.0 headers support 4 additional USB 2.0 ports - have this one connected but not using. * USB Type-C® power delivery output: 5V/9V max. 3A, 12V max 2.5A, 15V max. 2.0A - also no panel / adapter provided by Asus in the box. This is a new hardware so I am still getting familiar with it (make buildworld ~8 minutes wow). So far no kernel panic so this is most important for me, moved smoothly both zraid arrays to onboard 4 sata port and additional pci-e sata controller, this additional usb controller helps me save and reboot (happened like 4 times already in 2..3 weeks). That pci-e usb controller is xhci <NEC uPD720200 USB 3.0 controller>. I bought it some time ago to play with usb passthrough in bhyve. I have updated it with latest possible firmware. There were problems reported with that one on some laptops but it seems the problem was not with the controller as it matches description above but for some reason it works fine for me :-P https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=276428 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
