I've not done a business-style presentation from LiveCode before, but I've been running the jumbotron display at a convention that holds a tongue-in-cheek game show each year. I connect the AV gear to my laptop as a second monitor, and use two stacks to run the show. One is the visible one that lives on the second screen, and the other stays on my laptop and lets me control the scores and game elements in real time.
It's worked great for many years now. I even completely re-wrote it in a single evening for last year's show.
