Hi Aidan, it should be possible to animate (or deform) the lattice even without unsetting "construct". I've tested this after your email. Maybe you can give it a try, too. The only thing to remember is setting the animation to frame 0, or play the anim from frame 0 to get the new deformed/animated lattice working. I've played with a attached "bend contructor" to the lattice, too. It was working very well :-)
