I don't know why this statement "1" causes any confusion. Other values
than "1" make the lightsource stronger or weaker than the original
value. Same you get if you vary the value in properties-spec-General-
Intensity of the lightsource. It makes only sense to change the value
"1" if you want to have several objects different lighted by this one
lightsource. So I assume the confusion with the "1" shouldn't have
knocked you out so strong to give you a reason to attack people on the
list which just wanted to help Arjo. Karl already mentioned that the
lightsensitivity shader and channel are explained in the manual. Both
are also in the default startup already loaded. Maybe the use of the
shader on the lightsource is for the first time a bit unusual but it
seems quite logical

Yes right ... this really encourages people to write to the list. You
are steadily crying for help and tutorials and then attack people if
they write something. This seems not to be very logical.
