Hi Chris, The only thing I can think of, is that you put all the objects in one level. Scale the level with a value in the scale fields in the properties general tab. The geometry of all the sub objects will be scaled too. Now use the same number to multiply the radius of lightsources with the same value. I guess things like bumpy materials must have their height multiplied with the same value.
I'm not sure if this works for everything but I hope it helps a bit Arjo. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Chris Sellars > Sent: maandag 10 april 2006 22:24 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Scaling > > > Hi folks, > > I have made the mistake of creating a reasonably complex object > at the wrong > scale for the rest of a scene (which also contains complex objects). > When I scale the object up to size, all my bump textures and lights > connnected to the object, become ineffective. > > Is there a simple way to scale everything about an object when the object > gets enlarged, or do I have to go in and edit all the textures and light > fall-off values ? > > Just thought I would ask before I get busy with the tedious task ahead. > > Thanks, > > Chris Sellars > Morsel Animation > >
