Hi Chris,

No I didn't use shadowcasting in the other examples. But in the other
examples I used raytraced nurbs. These nurbs show a rounded shading. So the
hairs have light and dark sides. IMHO in the case of hairs that's not
stricktly necessary, as they are so thin you can't really notice this
rounding.
