Oh it's quite simple Garry, I was astonished that someone created such a
tool. That you can manipulate a landscape in such a way. It's just that I
wish a tool like that was available for "regular" 3D software. Maybe the
video shows it too easy.
And yes I know it's a game engine, but maybe it is possible to create a
landscape with it, without turning it into a game at the end. But possibly
not.
But to be short, I just found it a cool video.
Arjo.

Hi Arjo :

OK . I thought maybe you had been using this game engine
somehow . I have no idea how anyone would use a game engine
for creation purposes now, but I have a feeling it is just
a matter of time and we will all be using realtime tools .

OK , so have you thought about perhaps ditching VRML
for something more cutting edge ?

(turns out it's a link to a game engine demo)

Hi Arjo :

I've always been interested in landscape creation , but how
does your link affect me , today ? I mean , I do not use vid-
eo games . No time for that kind of playing .

Realtime is awesome , but what S/W can I purchase that will
allow me to create landscapes in realtime ? The latest (for-
ever coming) TG2 will not allow realtime landscape creation ,
and it's beyond cutting edge , but is "bleading edge" .

Gelato for Nvidia GPUs looks awesome but is old-hat now ,
and seems to be rarely implemented to it's fullest potent-
ial (would love to see it in RS Vx someday) .

Anyway , are you looking at maybe dropping your VRML
city project for something more realtime-like , perhaps ?
