I have a 6600 with only 128Mb, which seems to be struggling at the moment,
but it could be due to a million and one other things.
What I really need is a complete 'how to optimise Realsoft and your kit'
tutorial, before I go spending cash on new kit only to discover it makes no
difference.

Hi Chris :
One of the first things a user should do is bench their new
card . I tested several Detonator drivers with the awesome
Aquamark benchmark and compared my results with others in the
database . Joining the Guru3D forums is also a good idea .

I have the 6600GT too , but no issues with RS3D that I notice .
This card was a great deal but completely useless for some users
due to incomplete drivers that were only meant to work with the
latest chipsets . Thousands got screwed on this card .
They made a quick buck on this slightly detuned release but
lost many Nvidia supporters in the long run . If you were one
of those that had a compatible chipset then good for you .
