No , not at all . What I've been trying to say ... , ... , ... , is that your scene ships with a difficult beginning view angle for that particular building . As I said , just 'Dolly' back in RS before you start the walkthru tool and you're fine . Other option for your scene : ... , ... , ... , drag/drop the root into the viewport then 'zoom-in' a little (not dolly) then save the scene again . Reload and you will have the per- fect perspective for this building to begin the walkthru . > And at occasions the building starts to float > up or down, probably related to the gravity control problem that Stephan > mentions. Again , no . There is no "gravity control problem" . It works very nicely , in fact (go back and read that mail again) . One thing that is not documented is that the 'Camera Height' tool will always remain at whatever it was when you last quit RSV6 . Make sure you set this to around 1.5-2 meters . When you change it and click in the view window , you will experience RS automatically resetting the users view , ala C. Detection . Too cool ! > Rsview is a nice, freely distributable tool that should be a little more > "idiot proof" before it can be put in the hands of a client . There are probably better viewers , currently , but the great thing about the RS one , is the C.D. and the ability to create some very cool animations for the client to "discover" and then play with . Doors that open , moving escalators , an elevator that transports you to the next floor , waving flags , a robot that delivers you a clue to the next direction to go ... climb in a helicopter and have it fly you around the grounds ... it's endless ! Also , the OpenGL is awesome with V6 (and my XP) so the level of detail can be cranked up to show some cool textures and photos on the walls . Current cards can handle it . RS provides for auto- clipping (currently) , to keep geometry to a certain limit . Play with the included walkthru sample file and see how well it works . One of the reasons it works so good is because the author was aware that one needs to get the scale of things in a certain zone , first . Get the camera in a certain focal length too . Not too much perspective . > I fully support Stepan's suggestion for a configurable camera object. Yes , I'm sure if enough interest is shown , Realsoft may make some upgrades to the viewer . There are a couple of things that could be upgraded to 'user selectable' . > And finally: Happy new year to you all. 2007 has been a particularly good > year for me.
