I tried to reproduce your problem, but no luck, sorry...
Perhaps it's something in the Classes preferences??

Just to make sure: you've pulled up some walls (preferably with the new
building feature), saved the file and than either used the walk tru
utillity
from within rs3d or opened the project in rsview. Than, when in
perspective
mode, click the LMB and your view remains in perspective mode. Right?

I didn't check it with the building feature yet, but so far when I used this
tool the view has always remained in perspective mode like it should;
there's no difference between the sample project and my own V5 projects. I'm
using the 32bit version btw. I've never seen the switch to orthographic view
you describe while playing with this tool... must be really annoying!
Maybe you can upload a project, so the list or RS can check it out and see
if it's in the project (I hope we won't get contaminated ;)
Now that I think of it: sometimes my keyboard is confused when I want to
save something, a kind of re-mapping... maybe it's related???
