First time poster here (so I hope I am doing this correctly, most forums seem to have a web interface) and first time RS3D user (got the free offer of RS 5 in 3D World magazine.
I am going through the HTML manual (I wish there was a PDF version) and trying to get the snapping to work. I can select the corner of a rectangle object okay, but it doesn't seem to snap to any other object (like another rectangle) in any way. Also, the materials in the one panel seem to disappear often. Also looking for more instructional tutorials. Seems the user support for RS is a little thin.
