Another way of doing it...
1. Select only the 'Path' curve.
2. RMB click the 'View' Win and choose from the Popup menu, 'Camera/Object
view'.
3. Select only the 'Profile' curve and choose from the Popup menu,
'Camera/View to Object'.
Now your 'Profile' curve has moved to match your 'Path' curve (acually its
their 'Pivot Point' handles that matches)
You can make this into a simple Macro.
Just do this.
1. Have nothing selected !
2. Macro Record ON (Ctrl + m keys).
3. RMB and choose 'Camera/Object view'.
4. RMB and choose 'Camera/View to Object'.
5. Macro Record OFF (Ctrl + m keys again)
Bind the macro to a shortcut or to a compass menu as shown in the manual.
or just fast use it directly like this.
1. Multiselect the 'Path' and the 'Profile' Curves in this order and then
press (Ctrl + g)

Okay, I have been managing to figure out the position snapping.
(Though I have to keep referring to my notes.) So I can snap a profile
curve (say a circle) to the end of the sweep curve. Now, here is the
next step. I want to match the rotation of the profile curve (again,
say a circle) to the end of the sweep curve/path. I thought I could
select the end point of the sweep path curve and look up its rotation
and copy it over to the circle profile curve. But the only rotation
information I can find is for the entire curve, and not the end point.
Is there another way to match the circle so that it is perfectly
perpendicular to the end of the sweep end point?
Also another curiosity. When I construct a sweep mesh. I can remove
the curves from the mesh level and the mesh does not collapse? Is this
a good idea to do this? What if I want to reuse the same profile curve
on multiple sweep paths? Im not sure how the mesh making mechanism
works and what is a good idea or bad idea on how to use it.
