thanks for your suggestions.
We've tryed the first way, and the problem was the xml: there are a lot
of fields; the our users data are a little bit more complex that default
data treated for magnolia user's.
The second way was in my mind, and as solution can be used for future
development.
But the central problem at this moment for us, is how to create the xml
"from the scratch" starting from user data collection from db.
I hope in groovy!

I have been looking at 2 solutions:
1. While the standard "Users" View in AdminCentral does not support the Import/Export
Menu items, you can create a JCR Browser for the "Users" tree which does. Using this JCR
Browser you can export an existing user to see the XML format. You can then write a script to
export your users from Oracle into the XML format, and then use the Import function in the JCR
Browser to import them into Magnolia.
2. Create a Magnolia Login-Handler to automatically create the users at login
time. This requires Java development, and is a little more complicated, but
allows for updating the users from Oracle as they are needed.

Hallo All,
we have an oracle database with information of 1500 users that we need to
import in magnolia as admin or public users.
Anyone has ever had this problem?
