Hi Nils! Thanks for the feedback, we thought about the LDAP Connector, but it's not what we want.
Authentication in our case is handled by a different component, externally to magnolia - a customer-wide SSO solution handles the user's login. So our use-case is more along the lines of having to accept an incoming request as "pre-authenticated", extract the user-information from the request, and match it to a magnolia user, creating the user if necessary. The user never sees magnolia's login screen. I solved this with a custom Login-Handler paired with a custom (extended) JAAS module. Do you really need to do this? We use the Magnolia LDAP Connector (EE), which lets our users login without having to create them in Magnolia upfront: http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/modules/ldap.html Nils. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ VPRO phone: +31(0)356712911 e-mail: [email protected] web: www.vpro.nl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
