Are the instructions on http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/developer.html
still relevant. thats what I have been following.
I did an svn checkout on http://svn.magnolia.info/svn/magnolia from eclipse
and got revision 1688. is this the same as release 2.2?
I then ran
- maven eclipse from trunk\
however i get

looks like this is the wrong directory to run maven from. sorry I am not
maven literate.

Magnolia 2.1.2 is already out for a couple of days. However this is
not directly related - I guess - to your question. If I got it
correctly you are asking if in case you check out source code of
Magnolia 2.1.2 you will be able to build it on your machine: I think
you may give it a try and report here any problems you might have. The
2.x branches are not Maven multiprojects so you should be able to
easily create an Eclipse project for it and build it.
