More or less. It's the way to go for the released versions (2.1.x), but
not for the trunk (aka current development version).
I did an svn checkout on
http://svn.magnolia.info/svn/magnolia from eclipse
and got revision 1688. is this the same as release 2.2?
There is no release 2.2 (yet).
If you want release 2.1.2 (currently the latest released version) you'd
have to checkout
http://svn.magnolia.info/svn/magnolia/tags/magnolia2.1.2
Or get the source code from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=86297
I then ran
- maven eclipse from trunk\
The way to do it for the trunk is:
- checkout a fresh copy of http://svn.magnolia.info/svn/magnolia/trunk/
- run "maven multiproject:install" (in the root folder) for a complete
build
- run "maven -Dgoal=eclipse multiproject:goal" in order to generate
eclipse configuration files and then import the projects into eclipse
