I'm looking into customising Magnolia to cater for a requirement we
have. We'd like to associate the Magnolia concept of a user with our own
domain model of a user and other associated entities. The site would
then use these associations to handle authentication (potentially with
some SSO software).
We'd also like the administration of these users, to some extent, be
possible via the magnolia interface.
My question is: Is this the type of thing that would be achievable using
modules? And if so, how would I extend the authentication functions
already implemented in Magnolia to take into account the new domain
concepts i've 'joined' in.
As you can probably tell, my experience with Magnolia is minimal, so I
apologise if this question is OT, inappropriate or just plain dumb :)
Note this would be all be happening using the Community edition of Magnolia.
