Hi I have a very basic question. I have developed another website within in the magnoliaAuthor instance. I mean "features", the defaul web page, was there and I created a new independent page and started my own work. Then I mapped the IP to these DNSs ecodat1.freshwaterlife.org (its public) and author.ecodat1.freshwaterlife.org (its author).
It was all working fine unless I didn't delete feature and its sub-pages. Because now I wanted to be mysite displayed instead of magnolia's default page. Earlier I was accessing my site through a menu link on magnolia page by this url= ecodat1.freshwaterlife.org but when I removed magnolia page this url didn't work instead I have to use this = ecodat1.freshwaterlife.org/riverFlyProject. Then I tried to rename my rootpage from "riverFlyProject" to "features" and its working. I spend whole day figuring out why this is so but couldn't get to any answer. Please do answer me it really irritating me and also hindering me in starting my new project.
